Charles J.Ingerson aka The Old Rusty Knight (ORK):
Chuck has been many things in this life - sailor, soldier, writer, teacher, hunter, athlete, speaker, business owner, Contracting Officer (Dept. of Navy), and much more. He began writing poetry and prose in the mid-1950's, as well as drawing and designing new trends in clothing, and developing potential entrepreneurial business ventures.

Despite this wide-ranging creativity, he felt the desire to serve his country and joined the USN in 1962 and has served his nation in the world of Intel ever since. He completed his active service in the US Army Reserves serving ten years as a Senior Instructor in the NCO Academy, specializing in leadership and NBC warfare, helping to train the next generation of NCO's with several Instructor Specialties.
Wildlife photography is a hobby that he spends much of his time with now. Often he combines his favorite photos with his writings.

Currently, Chuck lives in Coastal South East GA with his beloved bride of 40 years, Joyce, and enjoys the many spontaneous visits from both of their sons and their families while they pursue further university educations.

Chuck is most grateful for his service and membership in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints for over 33 years, his American Red Cross volunteerism for over 55 years, and his involvement in scouting for almost 50 years.
